Hello friends! Thank you for stopping by and learning more about who I am and what I do.

I believe life is a never-ending adventure and right now I am exploring what life has to offer in the nation’s capital! I am currently the Traffic Anchor at WUSA-TV, the CBS affiliate in Washington DC.

I began my journalism career in the city by the bay while attending the University of San Francisco. While obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I got a chance to intern at almost every station in the Bay Area and learned from of the best journalists in the business. Many of them, I still keep in touch with and proud to call them my friends and mentors. After graduation, I was offered a job as a production assistant at KRON-TV, and took the opportunity to learn the business from the bottom up. I grew in ranks from PA, to assignment editor, to writer then producer. I even got my on-air start anchoring local news updates for the MSNBC and CNN channels!

After some time, I packed up my bag and said goodbye to San Francisco and drove 3 hours north to Redding California where I got a job as a morning anchor and one-man band reporter at the ABC affiliate station, KRCR TV. After 2 years braving the heat and garnering my first Emmy nomination, I took on my next adventure in beautiful Reno, Nevada where I spent 2 years as general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor at KTVN-TV. During my time at the CBS affiliate, I won 2 Emmy awards for my work with morning team.

Throughout my life, family and friends have been a constant, as well as my passion for traveling. I started my global trek at 2 months of age when I moved to Poland to live with my father who was in the beginning of his diplomatic career. From then on, our family has traveled the world together. Some of the countries I’ve lived in and visited included Saudi Arabia, India, Israel, Bahrain, Singapore, Italy, England, France, and Switzerland. But many places are still on my list of future destinations namely Australia, Hong Kong, and the Maldives! I also try to go back to Thailand as often as I can. I love the warm people, amazing food, and the beautiful culture I will always be proud to embrace.

Other than traveling, I enjoy getting lost in bookstores, going to movies and musical theaters, and running for fun to explore new towns and neighborhoods. Some of my favorite things in the world are farmer markets, yoga, shopping, and wonderful wines!
